Rashford and Henderson Omitted from England's Euro 2024 Squad

 

Marcus Rashford and Jordan Henderson have been excluded from England's Euro 2024 squad. The tournament, starting on June 14 and concluding on July 14, sees England placed in Group C alongside Slovenia, Denmark, and Serbia. England's campaign begins against Serbia on June 16.

In their place, uncapped players Jarrad Branthwaite, Curtis Jones, Jarell Quansah, and Adam Wharton have been called up.

England manager Gareth Southgate has announced a provisional training squad of 33 players in preparation for the tournament. By June 7, the squad must be reduced to a maximum of 26 players, coinciding with England's final pre-tournament friendly against Iceland.
