Phase 6 of the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections recorded a voter turnout of 63.37 percent across 58 constituencies, according to the Election Commission (EC).
On May 28, the EC released the final turnout figures, also breaking them down by gender. Male voter turnout stood at 61.95 percent, while female voter turnout was higher at 64.95 percent. The turnout for third-gender voters was reported at 18.67 percent.
State-wise data from the EC showed that West Bengal had the highest turnout at 82.71 percent, whereas Uttar Pradesh had the lowest at 54.04 percent during this phase.
The sixth phase of the 18th Lok Sabha Elections took place on May 25. The final phase, Phase 7, is scheduled for June 1, with results expected to be announced on June 4.
